Witness the coral’s transformation firsthand by a local artisan, learning about its history, biology, and market. Legends connect coral to blood, mythology, and ancient traditions—Greeks and Romans used it in medicine, while Celts adorned horse bridles. Over time, coral gained economic significance, with local authorities controlling its trade.

During our orientation walking tour, we will explore Alghero’s historic center, a maze of narrow streets, lively squares, and Catalan-influenced architecture.

After our orientation walk, we will enjoy our first authentic dinner together as a group. This little Pizzeria is born from passion, commitment, and respect for sustainable nutrition. It is the genuine taste of Sardinia, 100% Italian wheat flour, Sardinian craft beers and a lot of love!

Day 2 - From the Sea to the Gardens of Alghero

Experience high-quality olive oil at our 230-hectare Agricultural Estate, home to 25,000 olive trees in the Alghero region. Learn about bee communication, including the famous “dance” that helps them share nectar, pollen, and water locations—a discovery that earned Karl von Frisch the Nobel Prize in 1973!

From a distance, you’ll be able to observe the hive safely. Visit an educational hive and apiary to see bees in action—building wax cells, storing honey, and working together.

With an expert guide, you can gear up in protective gear and get up close to the hive and see how bees transform nectar and pollen into Sardinian honey. Become a beekeeper for a day! This adventure blends discovery, relaxation, and fun. The experience ends with a tasting of delicious Sardinian honey, highlighting its unique flavors. This is a true multi-sensory experience!
